Hello my future learners. My name is Marty Cole, and I am a retired attorney and a professional writer. I have a BA in English from Ball State University and a JD from Indiana University. My minors at Ball State are in Philosophy and Psychology. As a result, I have a broad background and base of knowledge to provide help to you on your academic journey. I am available to tutor you in a broad range of subjects including, but not limited to, English, Philosophy and Ethics, Psychology and Social Sciences, Law, Civics, and Government. I am an easy going person, but expect you to participate in your tutoring sessions to make the most of them. I look forward to meeting you.

I am interested in sports, music, movies, and cooking. On the sports front, I enjoy playing basketball, tennis, table tennis, pickleball, volleyball, and golf. I enjoy watching many different sports on TV in addition to those I play. I enjoy music and movies. My music leanings are Rock, Blues, and Alternative for the most part. I like action/adventure movies, sci-fi, classics and comedies. I do love to cook and make my own meals. Finally, I play the trumpet, and I have done so since I was a kid. I was in bands in High School and College and now mostly play in church with orchestras and choirs.
