I have a Masters degree in Public Administration (MPA) and a Bachelors degree in Sociology. My education credentials also include a graduate-level certificate in Local Government Management and a certificate in Grant Writing and Nonprofit Management. I have over ten years of experience working in various capacities in government and non-profits. As such, I know deeply how these types of organizations operate and what they look for in a program management tool, grant, presentation, report, or plan. My work and education experience have allowed me to hone my skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Forms, and Outlook, all are areas in which I tutor.

In my current role as a Data Analyst, I use Microsoft Excel daily. I coordinate with department teams and division leadership to identify data and information needs to provide innovative solutions in the form of reports, tables, data sets, dashboards, and surveys using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Forms, achieving quality and work process improvements. I love data and enjoy finding ways to make repetitive tasks easier. I love a good challenge and approach "problems" as a chance to be creative! I enjoy writing and helping build systems so that they can be as effective as possible.

In my previous role as a Grant Program Manager, I created databases, reports, templates, and forms for program management, strategic planning, and reporting. I am a skilled grant and strategic plan writer and am also well-versed in setting up grant programs for success. In addition to writing and program development, data analysis, research, training, and process improvement are some of my strengths.
