I love science! For 20 years I have taught many science classes at the high school level and have enjoyed helping students make that connection between science and their individual lives. Science helps us make sense of what is around us and seeing students "get this" is important to me. I am now retired but miss that interaction with students which I hope to have again through tutoring. Science CAN be fun but also can have meaning to everyone! It doesn't have to be scary but is relevant to so much in our lives. My experiences as a researcher, teacher, nature lover, and parent all come together as I work with students and I look forward to this opportunity!
