It is pleasure to meet you, I am Mai.
I am Japanese, who was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
Here, we have two methods to learn Japanese. One is learning as mother tongue, and the other is learning as a foreign language. In short, our sessions will be customized for your need either way.
Reading toddler books to introduce a new language/culture to lower age group children, learning casual phrases from Japanese Anime with teens, homework check and quiz/test prep for students who are currently taking Japanese classes at schools, etc.

[Personal Bio]
-Was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
Therefore, all educations till high school were in Tokyo.
In addition, my pronunciation of Japanese is national standard without an accent.
(This fact significantly supported me well when I was in the entertainment field professionally.)
-Attended a language school to learn how to teach Japanese language for foreigners while I was still in my high school.
(Daigaku Shorin Language Academy is still the largest language school in Japan.)
-Graduated from University of Hawaii.
(Bachelors of Art / Photography.)
-Mother of two bilingual children who are attending NYU and RIT, currently.
-Familiar with children and adults, who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia, and ADD.
-Lived in Tokyo (hometown), Honolulu, San Francisco Bay Area, and currently live in Parkland (close to Miami / Ft. Lauderdale), Florida.
