I've been teaching Middle School and Elementary Mathematics for (23) years in the NYC area.(Mostly Grades 5-7) I'm born and raised in Harlem. I love Mathematics!!! It's my favorite subject and what I'm most passionate about. My goal is to build up the confidence of each student and provide them with routines so they can become independent and consistent Mathematicians/Critical thinkers. One of my strengths is be able to make math simple by providing students with a step by step process that they'll be able to use on their own. I think mathematics should be enjoyable, challenging and excitiing. I love to inspire my students and build solid relationships with them as well as the families I serve. Trust and communication is the key. I offer test preparation for Standardized test in the NYC area as well.
