I have been a faculty member for 24 years in Chemistry. I have Taught Organic Chemistry all 24 years. I have taught Biochemistry 10 years. In my courses, I make sure to include a lot of problem-solving in class so students can get help when they need it. I also follow that same philosophy in tutoring. Teach them the concepts but allow them to work the problems out with you so you can catch their tendencies and misconceptions.
