Certified Tutor

I have always been a math educator going back to grade school. Several students constantly asking me for help made me feel like I had a purpose to teach or tutor math. I graduated with an Associate's in Accounting at Florissant Valley Community College. I realized during tutoring sessions for me that I could do the same thing with my strong subjects.

I tutored math and science for a few years and found a passion utilizing my gift to help students. My teaching philosophy is to make learning easier and relatable to students. I create study cheat sheets and homework applications that I leave students with after session. I apply real life principles and abstract learning in my assignments. I let the students drive sometimes instead of talking alot until they get more comfortable.

I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration from UMSL. I have been in the Accounting field for the past seven years. It has been my goal to get back to tutoring math. There is nothing I enjoy more than tutoring students using my skills to benefit another person. My interests are traveling, reading, hiking and watching sports. I will go the extra mile and find a way to propel each student during my tutoring session
