I am a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication and Media Studies. Since graduation, I received my Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate and taught English to South Korean elementary school students for two years. While I tutor a range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, Writing, and Grammar. I personally love reading and writing, so I find it very rewarding helping others better their skills in these subjects. For my teaching philosophy and tutoring style, my students in Korea could tell you that I find a lot of joy in creating fun and engaging materials. I believe it is really important to meet students where they are and connect learning with things they already enjoy. In my spare time, I read a lot. If there are any books that interest you, I would love to hear about them. I also enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures.

I love reading and writing. I enjoy a wide variety of books and genres, but I am currently interested in contemporary literature. I also love traveling and learning about new cultures. I recently backpacked around Southeast Asia for three months and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I also like to run. I am currently training for my first marathon and I am really enjoying the training period.
