Certified Tutor

I have nearly 20 years of advanced practice as an NP, and being a staff nurse for several years prior to becoming and NP. I received my DNP from the University of Iowa along with my PMHNP. My MSN/FNP is from Allen College. My undergraduate is from the University of Iowa and my ADN/RN is from NEIACC. I have been practicing family medicine/primary care for 18 years. Most recently I finished my psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). Medicine/nursing is constantly evolving and I love the academic challenges of learning. I have precepted students for many years and want to enhance student learning by tutoring. I love working with students and sharing my clinical expertise and knowledge. I have committed myself to lifelong learning which enhances my day-to-day practice. I appreciated the challenges of connecting pathophysiology with diagnosis, treatment, management, and follow-up of the lifespan in both family practice and psychiatry. Mostly I love working with engaged students as you are my future. I look forward to working with you and assisting you in meeting your educational goals.
