Hi, I'm Jacob I am a high school math teacher 3 years of classroom experience and a passion for helping students understand the why behind the math. I hold a Bachelor's in Mathematics Education which I earned through having the opportunity to teaching College Algebra at Purdue along with taking math classes up to Abstract Algebra.
n the summer of 2025, I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Math and STEM Education from Purdue University. I believe true learning comes from understanding, not memorization. That's why having a tutor who knows math is valuable, but having one who knows how to teach math makes all the difference.

I like to go outside and enjoy nature. I like to find the math inside things that other people do not and share that with people I like to game a little on PlayStation and the Nintendo Switch when time allows. I like to work out and swim. I listen to educational podcasts in order to better improve myself and the students that I teach.
