It's my goal to help not only with current assignments, but to also impart skills that will help students learn and study successfully in the future. I want to create an environment where each child can be relaxed and positive about themselves while learning no matter what difficulties they're having.

My years of experience as a tutor have prepared me to meet the needs of students in a personalized and focused way. My strengths are in English, English literature, and history. I have a strong understanding of the humanities. My degrees in both English and History have informed my entire educational career. I also minored in Art History, adding strength to my dedication to several facets of the humanities.

However, I am not limited to those subjects. My years of tutoring students from pre-K to college have allowed me to gain a deep understanding and knowledge of various subjects, which is essential in effectively assisting students across multiple disciplines. My expertise in providing one-on-one instruction and support of diverse learners has equipped me with the ability to adapt to each student's unique needs.

My time as a tutor has also refined my problem-solving skills. I have encountered various challenges while working with students, such as addressing different learning styles and assisting with complex assignments. Through implementing effective strategies, managing time constraints, and adapting lessons on the spot, I have developed the critical thinking and problem-solving abilities necessary to navigate a dynamic classroom environment. My problem-solving skills allow me to identify and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring the continuity of learning for students. Lastly, my effective communication skills facilitate clear and concise instructions, fostering a positive learning environment.
