I am a undergraduate at the University of Virginia, planning on majoring in Computer Science and Commerce. Growing up, I was blessed with great tutors who instilled me with valuable problem solving skills that aided me with not just math, but learning in general, and I want to pass on what I've learned to help others. I've had years of tutoring experience, including 2 years at a local math tutoring company called Mathnasium, online programs like AcePrep, and nonprofits like SPEAKRVA. I specialize in teaching math, which is also my favorite subject as I love finding problems and knowing that there is a right answer that I can reach. My teaching philosophy is a guidance approach, as I believe the best way for students to learn is by finding the answer on their own. Instead of telling them what the answer is, I give them advice and try to guide them to the right answer.
