As someone who has both studied under wonderful tutors and had the chance to tutor wonderful students, I find the opportunity to help others understand concepts very rewarding. Working in the publishing and educational sector adds a second layer of enthusiasm for making sure students engage with the lessons they are being taught. Having done my Bachelor and Masters's in Mass Communication with a gold and silver medal achieved in each respectively, I spent my university years teaching high school students in all pre-med as well as pre-engineering topics. It was a way to stay connected to my Science roots, and I have a particular interest in teaching English, Math, and Science because there are so many interesting things to learn within these fields. I like spending time ensuring students are understanding what they are being taught so that they can independently work in the future while also enjoying their spent learning something new!
