My name is Loraine Crichton I am an online science tutor.
I have been teaching GCSE science since 1999, GCSE combined science and separate sciences since 2010.
During that time I have had the pleasure of working
with over 1000 GCSE students.

I have also been a GCSE physics examiner since 2014
(excluding 2020 and 2021)

So I want you to know you are in safe hands!

Here's why I decided to get into teaching...

1) I am passionate about science and want to share the ideas and concepts about how the world works and want to inspire young people by opening up new areas of understanding..

2) I get a great deal of satisfaction from helping others and encouraging them to develop successful habits that help them to achieve the goals that will change their lives.

3) I love the sense of achievement and wonder that students display when they have overcome an
obstacle to their learning or become enthused about a topic.

I go to archery, both indoors and outdoors. I also enjoy stand up paddle boarding, although I am a bit of a fine weather paddler. I enjoy eating out with friends and family.
