Studying for a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Loughborough University this year has been an incredible experience for me. My core modules include Finance, Economics for Business, and Organisational Perspectives of Human Behaviour. My average this year is currently a 2:1. I've learned so much about how businesses operate, how to manage teams effectively, and how to create strategies for success.
I am passionate about teaching younger students about business. I believe that by sharing my knowledge and experience, I can help inspire the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. I want to show younger students that business doesn't have to be tedious or intimidating it can be exciting, creative, and rewarding. This subject allows me to be creative. I believe that business is a field that rewards innovation and creativity, and I want to help younger students tap into their creativity and develop new ideas. By teaching them about different business models, financial statements, marketing strategies, and management techniques, I hope to inspire them to think outside the box and develop unique solutions to problems. I believe it's a field that can make a real difference in the world. By learning how to create and run successful businesses, younger students can help create jobs, support families, and contribute to their communities in a meaningful way. I want to help them understand the power of business to create positive change in the world.
Businesses are constantly evolving. The world is changing rapidly, and companies need to be able to adapt to survive. By teaching younger students about the latest trends and strategies in business, I hope to help prepare them for the challenges they'll face in the future. I have extensive paid and unpaid work experience. I have had a job since I was Fifteen; my most extended role was at Sainsbury's as a Team Leader; this customer-focused role enabled me to develop resilient interpersonal skills. My work experience includes Chartered Surveyors, Social Media Marketing, and Consultancy, and this summer. I will intern at a Property Brokerage, CBRE. Although, my most rewarding role has been babysitting and tutoring younger students since I was fourteen. Parents paid me to look after their children; during this time, I would help students voluntarily with their homework, and I took great enjoyment from seeing their face light up from finally understanding the topic after my assistance.
My sister, currently in year 11, went from a grade 1 at GCSE to a grade 7 in GCSE Business in four months through interactive lessons that enabled her to comprehend the subject holistically and relate what I'm teaching her to real-life scenarios. Relating what we learned to companies she is familiar with helped her provide more comprehensive answers in her papers.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, cheerleading, horse riding, skiing, and further reading supplementary to my course. I am currently immersed in the book 'Thinking Fast and Slow' by Daniel Kahneman. This book has taught me how and why we make the choices we make.
I believe that by teaching younger students about business, I can help make the world a better place, one student at a time. As a student myself, I am a peer to students I should come to teach. I am an active learner, always seeking the best study methods for practical knowledge retention.
