I'm an incoming resident who recently matched into Child Neurology at Johns Hopkins, my top-choice residency program. My path in medicine has been shaped by a deep curiosity about the brain, a commitment to academic excellence, and a desire to care for children and their families with compassion and clarity during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Teaching has been a constant thread throughout my journey. I've been tutoring since high school, and over the past seven years, I've worked with a wide range of learnersfrom middle and high school students to undergraduate science majors, MCAT test-takers, and aspiring medical students. I've served as a university learning assistant, an MCAT tutor, a pre-medical mentor, and an ESL teacher for refugee women across the U.S. These experiences have taught me how to adapt to different learning styles, create a supportive environment, and make complex material more approachable.

I take a structured, strategic approach to both learning and teaching. I focus on breaking down information into manageable, high-yield chunks to improve comprehension and long-term retention. Whether I'm helping with coursework, standardized exam prep, or application coaching, I aim to help students study smarter and feel more confident in their abilities.

Alongside subject tutoring, I also offer guidance on personal statements, medical school applications, interview prep, and overall strategy. I understand how overwhelming this path can feel, and my goal is to be a reliable, encouraging, and honest resource for students at every stage.
