Certified Tutor

Looking to instill confidence in children struggling in general math and reading comprehension. I am a tutor for grades 2-6th, with professional experience in data analysis and consulting. I double majored in Enviornmental Science and Urban Planning/Design. I have 3+ years of professional tutoring during my time in College and have remarkable skills in working with others. As a tutor, I want to help my students manage their time, organize their thoughts, and prioritize their work. My goal is not only to improve their overall performance but also their relationship with learning in the subjects they are struggling with.

As a child, I was diagnosed with ADD and throughout my adolescence, have learned ways to manage those disadvantages to come off of the 504 Plan/ IEP in high school. I find the best way to help kids learn is to find ways to make them interested in the material and proud of their personal successes. I promise as a tutor to stay patient, positive, and engaged throughout your child's learning process.
