Hi there, my name is Kiran and I recently graduated with a PhD in Anthropology from the London School of Economics so I have lots of experience studying, doing exams and finding time to enjoy myself! I have taught at university as well as at schools across London so I have lots of experience working with a range of students. I enjoyed being part of different societies at university including boxing!
In my tutoring sessions I like you to lead and tell me what you enjoy. I'll do my best to include the things that work best for you e.g., videos, diagrams or anything else you suggest! Most of the time you know what you need to do but there can be a lack of confidence maybe because you don't understand exactly how and why we do things the way we do. I will always try to explain the theory so you have a fuller understanding of the topic we are covering. I like you to teach me as I think teaching is a great way to identify your own gaps and so we can push each other to solve the problems we are facing.
