I am a graduate of the University of Florida, where I received a Bachelors in Nutritional Sciences and a Minor in Spanish. I believe that education is a privilege. I also believe that it's a privilege to understand and enjoy specific subjects. We all have different gifts and perspectives, and it's more than beautiful to share these gifts with each other. I personally have a passion for science, specifically health sciences like Nutrition, Biochemistry, and Biology. I know that not everyone has an easy time with these subjects, so I am passionate about bridging the gaps for them. As a service-oriented person, it's a no-brainer to want to help others learn subjects I have expertise in.

Additionally, I am passionate about writing and essay-editing. I exceedingly enjoy editing essays and teaching others my systematic approach to write a quality paper for any assignment, application, or academic paper.

My teaching philosophy is about getting to the root-cause of why a student might be struggling to reach their goals. There is always a reason why a student is falling short of the success they hope for themselves, and my goal as a tutor is to step-by-step, help students find and tackle these reasons to ultimately empower them to reach their goals. I would love to help you improve in your Nutrition and Writing classes.

In my free time I like to paint, sing in Church choir, play the ukulele, pray/meditate, do yoga, cook, read books on psychology and neuroscience, and watch Japanese anime movies. I also currently eat a Paleo diet so I have a lot of fun creating paleo versions of my favorite meals from all over the world!
