I started off as a professional Geneticist working in the field of human genetics and then later in wildlife genetics for 22 years, as well as having spent 17 years as an AP Biology and 9th grade Biology teacher at a local high school in Anchorage, AK.

I have a passion for Biology and the fields within that disciple (e.g. Zoology, Ecology, Genetics, etc.). I also enjoy bringing real-life examples into my lessons to help students grasp various biological concepts.
