Certified Tutor

I firmly believe that education can unlock a person's capacity for extraordinary growth. I am motivated to support students in understanding the learning content and achieving their objectives. My teaching pedagogy prioritises developing students' talents. To promote students' learning, various forms of education and assessment are needed. Where some learners need to be challenged with analyzing concepts, others benefit from prioritising the development of fundamental research and citation skills.

I earned my MFA with a concentration in Craft Media at the Alberta University of the Arts. Before that, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts from York University and my Bachelor of Design from OCAD University. I currently work as a research assistant, freelance designer, artist, and tutor. Languages and literatures, the arts, history, and philosophy are some of my areas of interest. I find exploring stories from the past and present to be rewarding, and it makes me very happy to see students critically engaged in learning and applying their knowledge in their studies.

Disciplines I work with students on include high school and tertiary level Fine Arts, Visual Arts and Art History, English, Social Studies, and History (Caribbean, Canadian and World History).
