Certified Tutor

Teaching has alwaysbeen my passion, as it reveals my inner desire to help others, to impart my knowledge, and to sail inthe mind of others.

My overall experience working with students has been delightful. I have had the opportunity to handle all ages. From 3 years all the way to adulthood. Of course, in different periods of time in my 10 years of experience.

I have gotten my education in different places. I have studied in New York, USA and Santiago, Dominican Republic. I started high School in Talented Unlimited and Finished in De La Salle in Dominican Republic. I studied in a university called Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Dominican Republic, I majored in Psychology. I have done early childhood certificate and TELF certificate afterwards. I want to continue with my career in education by adding a masters degree.

I specifically tutor English and Math. However, I have tutored many other subjects like Science, Spanish, Geography, History, and many others.

My favorite subject to tutor are English and Science. I believe that the English language and what it entails is beautiful. Learning new words and using them amuses me. In the other hand, I also like tutoring science because it's part of us and I do believe it's important to understand.

I believe my role as a tutor is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. I want them to feel that no question is too silly to ask.
