I am a secondary school English and Media teacher who lives and teaches in West Cornwall, UK. I have been teaching since 2003 and I started delivering home tutoring in 2010. I specialise in exam techniques at A Level, GCSE and Key Stage 3

My teaching style focuses on delivering the skills needed to secure exam results.

Once you have booked your fist session, I will contact you to discuss your requirements and then design a tailored block of sessions built around what you need to achieve the best result possible. I also include access to additional support materials for students to develop the skills taught in lessons.

I am extremely aware that English and Media can be daunting subjects, particularly when it comes to the requirement to study both English Language and Literature as separate GCSEs when you reach Key Stage 4. However, my lessons focus on developing and applying strategies to build your confidence and speed by showing you what the examiners themselves are looking for.
