Certified Tutor

Early literacy is my passion! I believe that every child can learn to read and I enjoy breaking apart the reading process to guide students to their best potential. I started my teaching career in 1999 and spent the early years of my career teaching elementary aged students in public schools. For the past four years, I have focused more on individual tutoring. I have tutored students both online and in person.
I have had great results in helping students make gains in reading comprehension and fluency. While I am available to tutor all elementary subjects, reading is my specialty.
