"You Are STEM". I am a PASSIONATE, STEM Educator and Advocate for all learners. Education Background includes Bachelor Science in Health Science, Minor in Chemistry, Graduate Certificate in Public Health Concepts, and Masters in STEM Education with a Science Concentration. Currently, entering my 6th year of teaching secondary (high school) science and enjoy every bit of it. My passion for teaching began at the age of sixteen, and continued during my collegiate years at Howard University working at a middle school for math and science. I want students to enjoy learning about science and understand that science exists all around their living environment. Also, learning for understanding and not just for a grade. As an Educator, my teaching practices are inspired by the Great Nelson Mandala statement that "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." I believe "Knowledge is Powerful ''gained through Education that can change a child's capabilities to succeed in this world!
