I've been teaching for 7 years. My expertise is in literacy, writing, and history. I absolutely love helping students acquire skills that will help them be more successful and lifelong learners.

For me, I grew up in a less than ideal home. School was always a wonderful place for me. It was a place I found so much support and love. It was also a place I knew I would have a hot meal everyday. I was very blessed to have such great teachers that inspired me to follow in their footsteps. Education to me means everything because it is what helped me break free from the cycle of poverty. I am a first generation high school and college graduate. I am also currently working on my Masters of Education. I am very confident in my ability to connect with students and help lead them to be more successful inside, as well as outside the classroom. I am very hardworking and persistent. I know my experience in life and as a teacher allows me to truly help any type of student effectively.
