I am a graduate of The University of Tampa. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a focus on Athletic Training and Kinesiology. I have been teaching Science and Personal Fitness for middle grades through high school levels since 2001. Besides teaching I have been a competitive volleyball coach for the past 10 years, helping to motivate players to compete at their highest levels in both club and high school competition. In all my experiences teaching, I have found a love for life sciences and exploring different ecosystems with students showing them how intricate their communities are and how every living creature has an important part in nature. In my spare time, I enjoy running and working out, spending family time hiking or at the beach.
