Certified Tutor

My focus is on guiding students to explore how they learn and construct knowledge. I hope to show students how to self-regulate new ideas, play off of strengths, and become aware of weaknesses to try and grow as a learner. I believe that part of the learning process involves making discoveries about oneself and recognizing as well as appreciating the differences that make us unique as individuals. My job is to be a model for students, as well as guide them in their journey of finding themselves as successful learners. I will want all my students to learn how to struggle successfully and become active participants in their own educational journeys.
