Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Grace College, where I majored in English and minored in Creative Writing. I have over two years of experience as a college Writing Center tutor and have had the privilege of helping many students hone their writing skills during that time. I also served as the lead student editor of Grace College's literary magazine, *Inkspot*, from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022. My tutoring style is more relaxed and conversational, focusing on asking questions and helping students understand concepts rather than simply telling them what is correct. The ideal result of a tutorial session is a stronger writer, not just a stronger paper. I love seeing students' writing strengthen over time and want to help in that process however I can.
