Certified Tutor

Born and raised in a French speaking country, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in France and moved here in America where I obtained my Master's Degree in art of teaching (MAT) from Frostburg State University. Since graduation, I have taught college, high, and middle school students. I am passionate about the diverse cultures of the francophone world and of the world in general. Learning a foreign language takes time and dedication but opens the world to you and helps you acquire your world citizenship as the world is becoming a "global community". Congratulations on making it thus far! I believe that education at large should provide students with the opportunity to think beyond traditional boundaries, and discover new ideas that represent divergent cultural and intellectual perspectives of the world. Education should therefore prepare learners to become informed and active global citizens.
As teacher of French, it's always a pleasure to facilitate and develop the learning process towards these goals. With my teaching, I try to enhance students' technical mastery and use of the language as well as I aim to expand their perspectives, international education, tolerance and appreciation of cultural differences.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, watching sports, dancing, reading, and traveling. I consider myself citizen of the world, I haven't been everywhere, but it is on my list! "Don't listen to what they say. Go see."
