Hi, my name is Perry, and I am an incoming medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I graduated from Rice University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Medical Humanities and Business.

When I took the SAT in 2020, I scored 1570. I utilized a private tutor who pushed me to exceed my potential. I have been tutoring for the SAT for 3 years, incorporating many of the techniques that my tutor taught me, and have helped students achieve scores that have exceeded my own! Having taken over 40 SAT exams, I am an expert on how questions are framed, the underlying math and grammar rules, and how to catch the test's deceiving tricks. My understanding of SAT allows me to walk my students through not only "what" to do, but also "why" we do something, which is ultimately what will help the students score the best come exam time.

I know preparing for the SAT can be daunting. I was in your shoes not long ago, and I know that you need someone to keep you motivated and boost your confidence. To do this, I keep my sessions engaging by encouraging my students to chat with me through their thinking process as they solve problems, rather than letting them work them alone in silence.
