I am a graduate of Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida where I obtained my Bachelor's in Applied Science as well as a certificate in Certified Surgical Technology. I worked as a surgical tech/ first assistant for 14 years before making the switch to academia! I love learning almost as I much as I love teaching! I love to implement real world application to the subject matter that I am teaching! I have taught Anatomy and Physiology as well as courses specifically for Surgical Tech programs. I am experienced in teaching content aimed at passing the exam from AST for CST as well as CRCST from HSPA, in sterile processing!

I am also a recent grad from a ACUE micro grad course specializing in strategic teaching strategies!
