Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, a minor in Education, and teacher certification in Secondary Comprehensive Science. I also am certified in Middle School Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have taught both high school and middle school and enjoy providing students with personalized tools for success. I am the mother of a child with autism on the severe end of the spectrum, an experience which has taught me virtually unlimited patience and a desire to concentrate on individual styles of learning. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, sewing, quilting, and rug making.
