As a long-time student, I often struggled with academics. More specifically, courses related to the sciences did not come easy to me. I never felt prepared no matter how hard I tried because there was always too much information and never enough time. Although it was challenging, shifting from trying to learn everything to finding the "right" information to know helped me academically. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Rutgers University. Since graduating, I decided to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sciences and am currently a pharmacy student at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Many of my colleagues often recommended that I look into tutoring during my academic journey because of the simplistic way I can break down complex material. I know how difficult academia can be, and I hope to use this platform as an opportunity to help students in challenging times by decreasing any discouragement they may be facing in school and staying passionate about learning.
