Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate at James Madison University. I am currently working towards a B.S. in mathematics. During my first year of college, I have complete Calculus I and an Intro to Statistics course. I am currently taking Calculus II and Discrete Mathematics. I have taken an education course and have participated in an internship in a sixth-grade classroom. During my internship, I helped teach the subject math. I also participated in a two year peer mentoring program. In this program, I built one-on-one relationships with students K-6. I have a passion for math, and I am improving my math abilities every day. I have a strong belief that there is more than just one way to learn math. With every student I teach, I strive to find the method of learning that is best for improving their math abilities. In my spare time, I take classes at JMU, read, and spend time outdoors.
