I'm a life long learner, a continual student of the learning process. It's what makes me an effective teacher - I routinely am exposed to the challenges of learning from the student's perspective.

I believe education must be a coordinated effort between student and teacher. Finding a good connection and appropriate content to fit with the student is the most important prerequisite. Without such a prerequisite, the educational process is much lower as an effective exchange.

I have 15+ years of varied educational experience in working with young children up through adults. I have taught, as a certified educator, in middle school and high school in the US. I have taught as a Technology/STEM educator and an English teacher (grammar and literature). I have also taught English (ESL) to young children through adults in overseas schools and online opportunities.

I believe in utilizing my experience and insight to "work with" the student to find what facilitates the best learning opportunity for them.
