I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University in Creative Writing with a focus on poetry, mostly haiku, and my Master's Degree in Literature with a focus on Shakespeare from Wichita State University. I'm also working on completing an Associate's Degree at Penn State University in hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant!
Since completing my degrees, I've been teaching various English courses at the college and university level since 2005. I've also worked with a college prep program called Upward Bound since 2007 that serves first-generation college bound students.
I believe that education should be accessible to all who want it, so I strive to make material easy and fun to understand.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, fitness, and martial arts!
