I believe children all children can learn and progress. They may not learn at the same time and the same rate, but they are all capable of growth. I believe the adults who are responsible to children should adopt a posture of urgency - especially from birth 3rd grade- to provide the instruction and resources that children need to succeed. I believe the environment or context where children learn is as important as what they are learning so it's important for the professionals who work with children to show compassion and respect so that children can feel safe to learn.
