Since I was a young girl I always enjoyed working with children and helping them achieve personal goals. I have an extreme passion for education and fostering growth and development. I have always loved school and learning new things, even if it was difficult. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Valdosta State University and a Masters of Science in Human Services with a specialty in Children and Adolescent Services. I enjoy History, Art, English, and Reading, as these are subjects I find thrilling to use interactive activities to aid learning. For the past 4 years I have been working 1:1 with students that have learning difficulties. I enjoy working with students on executive function skills as they are extremely important when prioritizing important tasks. My teaching style is geared towards the interest of the student to show students that learning can be fun as well.
