Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Missouri. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies with a Multicultural Certificate in May of 2020. I also obtained my Early Childhood Education Certificate, so I am licensed to teach students Birth-6th grade. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Educational School and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Mental Health Practices in Schools at the University of Missouri.

I am in my second year of teaching Kindergarten. Prior to teaching Kindergarten, I participated in a year long internship where I student taught in third grade. In addition to this, I preservice taught in grades 1-5, taught at two preschools and worked for an after school program.

I have wanted to be an educator for as long as I can remember. My favorite thing about teaching is the relationships that I get to build with my students and their families. While, I teach all subjects I am most passionate about phonics because of the foundation that it creates and role it plays in students becoming the best possible readers and writers they can be.
