Certified Tutor

I have been teaching and tutoring for over 14 years. I studied speech and language development and special education as an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, College Park. I received my Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University Graduate School of Education. I have tutored children from ages 3-16 and have a wide range of experience in the education sector. I enjoy tutoring English, Social Studies, and writing. I've been trained in a variety of methodologies, including Montessori, and draw from my breadth of experience to use methods that work for each child with unique individual needs. I believe that all children are capable of learning and growing at their own pace and that there is not a one size fits all approach.
