I am a graduate of Kalamazoo College in Michigan. I received my Bachelor of Arts in French and Psychology with a focus on Community and Global Health. I have experience tutoring K-12 students in Kalamazoo within the CAPS (Community Advocates for Parents and Students) program and within the Refugee Outreach Collective, a non-profit which helps recently-displaced families adjust to life in the United States. I love working with people to understand concepts because I think that learning should be fun. My psychology background helps me to be creative and receptive to students' different preferred learning styles, as well as maintain direct communication in setting and reaching students' educational goals. I know that I will be a great resource to anyone looking to improve their French, writing, psychology, or basic math and science skills.
