I am a graduate of the University of West Georgia where I obtained my Bachelor of Science and Master of Art in Criminology. I taught special education to middle school and high school students at a residential treatment facility. While teaching, I helped students excel in subjects they struggled with while finding the best fit for their learning styles. My favorite subject to teach was (and still is) English and writing although I taught several subjects to my students. After working there, I began working with the federal government in personnel security where I helped federal employees gain and/or maintain a national security clearance. I believe in a life of constant learning to help improve and enrich our lives and hope to share that with my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, taking care of my daughter, and spending quality time with my family.
