Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Penn State University with a BA in Psychology and a MPS in Human Resources and Employee Relations. I am a current student at Gwynedd Mercy University in the M.ED Program for my certification to teach K-4 students. My program is almost complete and I am so excited to be a teacher soon! I have spent the last 3 years tutoring students ages 4-10 in learning the English language. I have been a substitute teacher in my local school district and I am currently a student teacher in second grade. I am most passionate about helping my students build a better foundation that will allow them to achieve better in school and give them the confidence they need to be strong learners. I believe every child learns different and as an educator it is up to me to ensure the proper teaching style and strategies for the children I teach. Education is so important for students today and long into their future thus making my position as your child's tutor even more important. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, biking and spending time with my family.
