My philosophy of teaching is based on sound values and character. Our whole reason to learn and to grow is to become worthy citizens that will transform their community and the world for the wellbeing of all involved! We now take small steps, but our goal is to climb mountains and reach for the stars and beyond! I seek to focus on my students unique abilities and talents to help them press on and see meaning also in the subjects or areas that are new or more challenging. I believe lessons must center on the student's interests and new content must be anchored on prior knowledge, and very importantly students need to feel accepted, appreciated, and valued to take risks and engage in a productive learning adventure! :o)

I love to read the Bible. I am passionate about foreign languages, French is my favorite but I also have loved to learn Italian, Hebrew and Arabic. Spanish is my mother tongue. English is the language that helped me find the love of my life, my husband! I do not have much time for puzzles but when I can, I enjoy them! I find them relaxing! Oh! And I love cats!
