I am a graduate from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus in Vocal Performance. During my college years, I have performed in different venues with prestigious vocalist and musicians from Detroit, Michigan. I learned not only the theory of vocal performance, but the precise vocal technique and the art of live performance. Since graduation, I have collaborated with secular and religious entities to strengthen the knowledge of students on their journey to develop their own voice and how to use it properly and effectively. As an immigrant, I can understand the complexity of learning in a different language and what it takes to achieve your musical goals, no matter where you are from. I am most passionate about vocal exercises, the use of proper vocal techniques and choosing the right repertoire to amplify the beauty of your voice. In my experience, helping students find their unique voices no matter what genre, is what has inspired me as an instructor and as a live performer. I am a strong believer that anyone can learn how to sing and project their voice with consistency in practice and patience over time. In my spare time, I study voiceover and how to play around with your voice. I enjoy hiking with my dogs, working out and singing while I cook (of course).
