I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education-Spanish, a Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish Language and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. After graduating, I taught K-5 Spanish at an elementary school and Spanish 1, 2, and 3 at a high school. I then spent six years teaching 5th-, 6th-, and 7th-grade Spanish at a middle school. I am passionate about helping students discover and learn the Spanish language. I believe proficiency in more than one language is critical in today's society, and I try to instill this in my students. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two boys (1.5 and 3 years old), reading, and watching movies.
