I am certified to substitute teach at our local schools in a variety of subjects. I just finished a long-term teaching position for a 6th grade Reading class. My favorite subjects are History and Reading. I home-schooled my children through high school. Both continued college education receiving masters degrees. I am passionate about education and helping students to learn, be confident, and to understand how important education is so they may accomplish goals for a successful adult life.

My favorite hobbies are playing with my granddaughters. I am privileged to be able to spend a lot of time with them when I am not substitute teaching. The most important part of playing is to build an imagination. With books and nature and other resources, we can explore and learn about anything. In my quiet time, I like to crochet and spend time with my dog.
