I have an Ed.S Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor's in Communications. I tutor elementary level students in Reading, Writing, and English but I am most passionate about Music which I have taught in one-on-one and group classes for many years. I encourage critical thinking, draw out ideas, and solidify understanding in academics through question-and-answer dialogue sometimes known as the Socratic Method. I consider myself a guide and mentor for my students.

I love writing, film, filmmaking, music and science fiction/fantasy. I use yoga and meditation for health, exercise, and peace-of-mind. One of my screenplays recently won an award in an international screenplay competition.
