I am a current college student at the University of Maryland as a Secondary Education and Government and Politics double major. I am passionate about the realm of education and creating change in my community. In the past I have worked with children aged 4-18 as a swim coach, which taught me the benefits of patience and versatility. I hope to eventually pursue a career in education policy, where I can help to enact necessary changes in our education system.

In my free time I enjoy running, swimming, and biking. I am currently training for a triathlon, hopefully this upcoming Spring. I also enjoy singing, and have been a part of a-cappella and choral groups. Like anyone, Netflix is a staple in my life and I enjoy watching New Girl and Criminal Minds. The most recent book I read was called White Ivy (10/10 would recommend).
